EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State-supported network of hundreds of advising centers around the world. Each year, EducationUSA advisers provide millions of international students with accurate, comprehensive, and current information about how to apply to U.S. colleges and universities. Helped found a collaborative Model United Nations project with francophone high schools in Istanbul. Advertised the event at my school and found students that were up for the challenge. Created and administered commitees revolving around worldwide issues. Helped create a weekly mentorship program for the participant delegations to help them in their committee work. Was also responsible for the creation of "recaps" - short videos that showcased what the participants did on the day of the event. Throughout the year, a scientific project was carried out at the Saint-Michel high school with the collaboration of the University of Marmara. This unifying project consisted of work on "the history of science". Students were asked to reproduce important experiments or inventions, carried out by great scientists as they were made at the time of their creation. I was involved in my school's project team for this fair. We carried out research like real scientists, for 6 months. We put ourselves in their shoes, rediscovered the steps and procedures used at the time, wondering about the evolution of scientific knowledge. The fair was canceled due to Coronavirus complications, but we still designed a Bunsen Spectroscope.

Exchange Student

Two week exchange program in Besançon, France. I stayed with a native French student and went to school with her where I attended numerous classes and participated in activities.
