Internship

This internship program provided me with the opportunity to rotate in 2 different departments. - The first month and a half was dedicated to learning about how to be a good receptionist. I acquired and improved abilities like face-to-face customer service, problem solving and the management of booking systems. - The second month and a half was about organizing events or activities. Being an all inclusive hotel meant they offered entertainment activities and night events every day, which needed to be planned a week in advance due to the big number of activities and the great amount of details each one of them required. Promotion to manager. I managed a group of more than 25 counselors. I organized more than 20 events each year, in which adapting to each occasion was the most important aspect. Logistics as transportation, food and beverages, animation and other services were required of me.

Entry level, I started as a counselor. I working directly with our clients, which could be either adults, teenagers or children depending on the occasion. Teamwork, and good communication were the key to success. We used to have more than 300 clients at a time.

First job in a office at the age of 17. I learned how to use booking systems such as Opera. I had to operate bookings, whether it was to accept, decline or extend one.
