  Owning, developing and managing restaurants is nothing new to Alon Mor. He has dedicated the past 18 years of his professional career to working in the fast-casual restaurant industry. As president and CEO of MMM Business Consulting and Development, Ltd., from 1997 to 2002, Mor launched, owned and operated seven cafes specializing in gourmet ice cream, coffee and Mediterranean cuisines. Franchising his operation throughout Israel, Mor propelled the company’s operation and profit, reaching annual company sales of $4.5 million. Upon returning to the United States, Mor joined the Panera Bread family in 2002. While serving as special projects manager, he aided in launching 22 Panera Bread cafes throughout Colorado, and as a district manager, Mor recruited, trained and developed cafe managers. He has been responsible for strategic business reviews, financial analysis and monitoring, and implementation of growth programs and initiatives. A native of the Mediterranean region, Mor envisioned merging the fast-casual concept with the Mediterranean cuisine he remembers as a child growing up along the Mediterranean Sea. In 2007, Mor joined Ken Rosenthal, founder of Panera Bread, in making the vision a reality. Together they formed Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill, a Colorado-based multi-unit restaurant group. Mor incorporated original and unique family recipes into the menu offerings with only top quality, fresh and healthy ingredients. Mor and Rosenthal began opening Garbanzo Mediterranean Grills across Colorado in 2008. Mor currently serves as the company’s president. Mor holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Creighton University. According to Mor, while he enjoys all of the time he spends in the business world, his true joy comes from spending time with his wife and three daughters, his friends and in his own kitchen.
