Currently a part of Design Division, in Structure TeamDesigning structure of "X" Project especially Factory/Manufacture Building with steel structure, reinforced concrete, and another utility facitilities.Main job in charge:1. Provide structural calculations of the building, from main substructures, main superstructures, until secondary structures based on Indonesian Code (SNI) or Japanese Building Code (BSL). Ensure the design is safe for use.2. Transforming the result of calculations to the Structural Drawing. Also preparing the For Construction Drawing, For Estimation Drawing, etc.3. Supervise CAD drafter in producing structural drawing.4. Confirm and give a commentary/check back related to the design implementation from the construction site.5. Checking Shop Drawing from construction site and steel fabricator.6. Create memorandum to the construction site and another related parties.7. Have a coordination with Architecture Team, MEP Team, in a design process from start to end.8. Attending some meeting with client, related parties/stakeholders if necessary.9. Dermaga Berlian, Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak Surabaya, is where my Internship take place. The aim of this project is to strengthen the existing structure of Berlian Pier (Dermaga Berlian, Tanjung Perak, Surabaya), that was previously using caisson since the colonial era. During my internship, here are some of my activities: 1. Did some structural analysis using civil engineering programs (SAP2000, Geo5, AutoCad, etc), then control that the outputs are acceptable 2. Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly 3. Site controlling regularly 4. Joining some weekly and monthly meetings with the contractor, consultant, and owner of the project to overview the progress that have been done so far etc. Show less
