I worked actively in an international team, following every step of the festival creation process, including all the aspects related to the governmental and financial sustainability during the Covid 19 epidemic. The Sustainable Development Week is a project initiated by the Student Subcommittee for Development and Cooperation at the University of Jyväskylä. Being part of this sub-committee was an opportunity for me to meet other international and Finnish students who are sensitive to the issues of climate deregulation. I had the opportunity to learn more about the impact of human activities on the climate and the consequences that this change can have on various environmental and human… Show more The Sustainable Development Week is a project initiated by the Student Subcommittee for Development and Cooperation at the University of Jyväskylä. Being part of this sub-committee was an opportunity for me to meet other international and Finnish students who are sensitive to the issues of climate deregulation. I had the opportunity to learn more about the impact of human activities on the climate and the consequences that this change can have on various environmental and human environments. The academic conference I was in charge of organising and communicating on social networks (Facebook and Instagram) brought together: - Docent Panu Halme, - Professor Tiina Silvasti, - MP Joonas Könttä, - Heta Kopra from the NGO Eetti Jkl and Semma. The speakers exchanged for more than an hour about the consequences that Western food consumption has or can have on climate change but also about the environmental and social damage it implies, in particular for the countries of the South.
