Bio
Yulin Olliver
I served as Allyson Monroe’s supervisor in her capacity as the Marketing Intern at Fox Sports, FUEL TV. She reported directly to me, the Marketing Manager, for the first of her two semester-long internships in 2009-10. I am impressed by Allyson's organizational skills. She is extremely responsible and focused on the task at hand. Very minimal back and forth is required once she receives instruction. Additionally, I am pleased with the high level of professionalism and integrity with which she performs. She is quick to identify if she needs more information to complete a project, and is not hesitant to ask questions when appropriate. Allyson not only was accountable for the network’s Official Facebook Fanpage, which required long-term planning, strategic alignment with other department goals, and daily maintenance, but she played a key role as a marketing assistant. Assistant responsibilities included event production, event marketing, and strategic partnership tasks. She was able to create and execute processes that did not previously exist such as sculpting press releases, interviewing pro athletes (while on snowboard), and writing for the website. But what stands out most about Allyson is that she has the ability and execution to step up to the plate when needed. She instinctively made all the right moves when her new supervisor and his staff failed to show up or instruct her at a major, televised, action sports event. I was impressed. Allyson will go far, because she is trustworthy, pleasant to be around, creative, motivated, respectful and communicative. I value her follow-through, characteristics I find essential in both the work and graduate school arenas. In summary, I highly recommend Allyson for any position or endeavor that she may seek to pursue. She will be a valuable asset for any organization.

Allyson is outgoing and motivated. She always completed the tasks that were given to her with a smile and was a pleasure to work with.
