"Inside the American Embassy" 3x1hrs Field Day Productions / Channel 4 With unprecedented access, this three-part ob-doc series went behind the doors of the U.S. Embassy in London during a time of great change. Self-shooting on the C300 with prime and zoom lenses, I directed and edit produced the second episode set inside the Consulate, where hopeful travellers come for a visa interview to try and enter America. A film exploring immigration policy as Trump’s controversial travel ban came into effect. “Trump’s travel ban turns these already delicate interviews into a series of grippingly intimate, politically fraught and often heartbreaking encounters.” – Guardian. I also shot across the series during multi-camera shoots including VIP events, visits and high-profile media interviews with the Ambassador. Development / Various Projects I am developing complicated institutional access across a range of ob-doc projects for Channel 4 and ITV ranging from the police to social care provision. I also did some additional shooting on two of the three films for “CCTV: Caught on Camera” a recent Channel 4 series about both the Watchers and the Watched. I have also been doing bits of directing, shooting and editing for various taster tapes and other Blast projects as some potentially very exciting access percolates both here and abroad… Show less
