Ally was an absolute pleasure to work with, that fine mix of professional and personable. A deep technical knowledge really helped Ally perform her role well and it was clear she had the trust of her team due to her desire for quality while protecting scope and the teams health. I would happily work with Ally again!

Working with Ally since she joined Mighty Kingdom has been a joy and a real privilege. She has used her in-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and game development to support and gently guide a high-functioning team toward ever more efficient and world-class practices. The powerful way Ally joined our project has stuck with me as a model of good leadership practice: she built a haven of psychological safety from day dot, embarked us on a journey of mutual commitments and empowered the team leads. All the while, she has remained humble, encouraging and approachable, modelled self-care and kept sharing her knowledge within the broader Mighty Kingdom team. I don't think words carry enough weight to express how wonderful of a role model she has been for me, in my transition to the games industry and my continued interest in leadership. I am grateful for knowing and working alongside Ally and would recommend the experience to anyone lucky enough to get the opportunity!

The Working Lunch is a group of initiatives based out of Australia and New Zealand, all with the aim of making the games industry a better place to be in. We’ve run mentorship programs, indie game showcases, events, written resource books and more. Right now, we’re turning our focus to growing the game production & creative leadership community in Australia. 2021 is an exciting time for the growth of game development in our home country, and we want to connect the people who connect game dev teams. I worked as a Producer on Warhammer 40,000: Regicide during the mobile porting of the title, delivering a cross platform multiplayer Warhammer experience across PC, Android and iOS. In this time I also handled all forward facing communications and PR. Warhammer 40,000: Regicide took home IGN's Black Beta award for Best AU/NZ Made Game. Working with a small team to shape a bold creative direction, while managing the day to day of a fast paced game development environment. I wrangled tight timelines, tight budgets and an incredibly talented team with a specific vision to deliver award winning indie games like Rumu, which released to critical acclaim, winning the Australian Writer's Guild Award, The Australian Game Developer Award and many more. I worked with CDPR on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on their first global cosplay contest and help to grow their community. I also acted as a brand representative for the title at tradeshows globally, including Gamescom, PAX East, PAX Prime and EB Games Expo. My work with the CDPR community team resulted in a wildly successful competition, a small part of which I hope lives on in the exponential growth of the Witcher cosplay community today. I worked with Blizzard on their ANZ Heroes of the Storm launch event. It was a real privilege to create a custom set of armour and props for one of the most iconic studios in video game history, and to work as an entertainer at the event. Haven is a little show with a big heart - one of the most unique and inspiring games events in Australia. Catering to a passionate regional pop culture community, it embodies the underdog spirit of Australian gaming. I've worked with the showrunners since Haven's first year, and continue to return annually to host the event. In 2014, I took on the role as Indie Games Coordinator, putting together a show floor exhibit of Australian indie developers who showcased their games, and presented their works on stage with a Q&A session. Feedback from attendees and developers alike was stellar. Show less
