I worked for the Spanish team at AJ+. I researched, pitched, generated briefs, coordinated remote interviews with video journalists and interviewees, scripted, and rough edit story line. I also pitched stories produced by AJ+ English and French channels that are of interest to the Spanish-speaking audience. The stories selected were translated, adapted, voiced-over and edited. On average I reversioned 2-3 videos per day.

Producer - Club de Prensa
-
Oct 2014 - Jul 2018
As the producer of Club de Prensa, a daily live Spanish-language round-table format news broadcast that delivers critical analysis of news events impacting Spanish-speaking audiences in 22 countries including the United States, I am responsible for developing an on-air graphics rundown, booking guests, selecting topics and greeting guests. I am also in charge of editing videos of the show for distribution of content to multiple partners and social media platforms, as well as managing social media pages. Managing all stages of production including editorial content and multi-camera technical direction of interviews, programs, and mini profiles when outside of the studio or on trips is also one of the many responsibilities. In addition to being involved in the technical aspects of the show, I am also responsible in training new interns in the process of the show's operation, social media management, post-production editing, and helping them gain hands-on experience. As a producer for NTN24 I have also researched, written, filmed, edited and produced several packages for other shows. For special events hosted by the station such as, “Los 22 Más” ceremony, which celebrates and recognizes the talent of the 22 most outstanding Colombians living in the U.S. I coordinated the guest's arrival to Washington DC and television interview logistics. For three months I worked closely with a group of five other interns and the Training Manager in the creation of new show called, “District Buzz”. The show was meant to showcase events that take place in Washington DC. I produced, scripted, filmed, and edited a five minute segment for the show which aired in October. My segment was “Sidewalk Eats”, in which I did the voice over and was the talent. As group we helped each other film, worked lighting, and audio set up of other “District Buzz” segments, and public service announcement. Show less
