Bio
Amy Miller, MEd
Allison truly cares about the wellbeing of her direct reports. She consistently encouraged me to take on more challenging projects and to seek out opportunities for professional development. She also cultivated a wonderfully honest and supportive environment within the education department, and struck a good balance between being accessible and allowing her direct reports autonomy and independence. Allison is a fantastic supervisor and colleague, and I would be delighted to work with her again.

I am so impressed with Allison! She called me up in spring 2020, a cold call, to pitch an idea for a collaboration between Old Dominion University's Institute of Coastal Adaptation & Resilience that would result in an exhibition about flooding and sea level rise in Hampton Roads. We scientists were initially skeptical that this could work but Allison was steadfast and sure. She was wonderful to work with throughout this project. She was confident in advising us how to put together materials for display, and very knowledgeable about how to pull together such an interdisciplinary exhibition. It was a delight to work with Allison - she's a pro all the way!
