As a player on the BYU Women's Volleyball team, I got the opportunity to coach aspiring players for several summers. I personally coached girls in the age groups of 10-14 year olds for weeks at a time. During this position, I was able to create my own coaching plan specifically designed for the young women I was over. I gained experience in human relations as I had to navigate not only player concerns, but also concerns from their parents.
