Allison is an energetic, imaginative, engaging, and thoughtful educator. At Bartram's Garden she worked with children aged 2 – 15 years in our toddler, homeschool, and school field trip programs, teaching hands-on lessons in botany, horticulture, history, and environmental science. She has a very good understanding of individual learning styles and pulls on many strategies for communicating complicated topics. She is always excited to learn new things whether it's beekeeping, teaching strategies, colonial history, or botany. She communicates her excitement about her topic to every audience she teaches. She is very collaborative, always contributing to planning and helping out wherever it was needed. It was a delight to have her on our team.
