With two other interns, I performed statistical analysis comparing health scores of psychiatric patients throughout treatment. We looked at relationships between varying demographic variables and length of treatment, as well as waiting times and other relevant factors. Through this experience I have become more comfortable with statistical analysis and have learned about the CORE+OM, VAS, and EQ5D methods of scoring patient health. The project is hoping to publish at least a pair of articles on our findings. Show less

As a roofer I worked in a team to tear off and lay roofs. It was lots of heavy lifting, communication, cleaning up after ourselves, and attention to technical details. I took this job for the summer as a break from the restaurant industry and loved the physical aspect of it. As a roofer I worked in a team to tear off and lay roofs.
