I lead product and service design, research, and strategy for our care management and population health work streams at the forefront of athenahealth’s transition to value-based care. We design products and services to help healthcare providers: - Provide their patients with the care they need, per established clinical best practices - Focus their resources on the patients who need the most care - Manage and coordinate patient care between members of a care team - Get appropriately reimbursed for the care they provide while minimizing administrative burden and data overload Show less

I conducted design research and brought service design methods to Fannie Mae's Customer Experience Design team. I was involved in ongoing design research and strategy efforts to better understand the affordable housing space in support of our company's mission. I also designed and facilitated 4-hour design thinking education training courses and many co-creation sessions for partners and stakeholders. Projects include:- Enterprise Innovation UX and Strategy: Created user flows and wireframes for a consumer-facing mobile application. Led design research and strategy to determine user flows and create personas for an internal-facing application.- COVID-19 Response: Led and supported three design sprints to design financial products, services, and messaging strategies that would sustain single-family affordable housing during COVID-19.- Homebuyer Education: Led a team of designers to make recommendations for our homebuyer education partnership based on a heuristic evaluation of five competitive courses. Influenced feature prioritization and strategic positioning for our homebuyer education course by researching the role homebuyer education plays in the mortgage process for both homebuyers and lenders.- Design Education: Led a team of designers to identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and define guiding principles as our design education team redesigned their company-wide offerings.I also participated in building our team culture and developing design maturity through actively contributing to our Communities of Practice, building out and participating in our team’s Anti-Racism and Equity working groups, and contributing to our Research Ops work. As a summer intern at Adaptive Path, I had three main responsibilities: - Working with a design team on a project we did in conjunction with Capital One's Cafe Experiences team to create a more seamless experience for Money Coaching participants. I was present for the kickoff and research phase of the project, so I was mainly involved in understanding the current state of the territory, doing exploratory research, and conducting interviews with money coaches, bankers, and financial advisors. - Writing a guide on InDesign's Data Merge for service blueprinting and project cards; holding a workshop on the subject - Interviewing and blogging about Cindy Gallop's perspective on design in advance of her keynote presentation at Adaptive Path's UX Week Show less
