  Arizona Serve works to develop community partnerships and identify individuals to serve as AmeriCorps members to fill gaps in non-profit organizations.   Arizona Serve of Prescott College connects AmeriCorps volunteers with transformative projects that address poverty in the Pima and Yavapai counties. As the Tucson Team Development and Outreach Coordinator, I assist the organization by supporting current AmeriCorps members at their service sites and gathering robust exit evaluation data that will inform future programming. Additionally, I am responsible for outreach and engagement through social media.

I work with members of the Tucson community to schedule fruit harvests in residential settings, parks, schools, botanical gardens, and more. The fruit is then redistributed to UN refugees, asylum seekers, and other organizations helping to alleviate food insecurity.   As the Off-Campus Housing Sustainability Manager, I oversee a small group of students that works to promote sustainable behaviors in apartments and neighborhoods in the Tucson community. This is done by engaging with residents and management to effect behavioral and institutional change. My work includes supervising two other student coordinators, outreach, and project management.
