Wayfinder Family Services ensures that children, youth, and adults facing challenges always have a place to turn. Wayfinder serves over 20,000 people annually, including individuals in need of vision rehabilitation and developmental disability supportive services. At Wayfinder I oversee our non-public Special Education school, Vocational Rehabilitation services for teens and adults with visual impairments, in-home Child Development services for babies 0-3 with disabilities, five community-based group homes, our Transiton Services program, and Wayfinder's Camp Bloomfield and adaptive recreation services. Responsible for fostering collaborations with government agencies, consumer groups, and social service providers to broaden opportunities for funding and the development of wraparound services for populations including individuals with disabilities of all ages and youth within the child welfare system. Some our key community partners and funding sources include California Regional Centers, multiple Los Angeles area school districts, CA Department of Developmental Services, Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, and the CA Department of Rehabilitation.
