Mark and I were employed for several years by a biotech start-up in vastly different roles which nevertheless relied heavily on one another. "Crunch time" was rarely predictable -- this was simply the nature of the industry and the various entities that governed it -- but having Mark on board to remind us that we were all "part of the same team" helped make such instances exponentially more bearable.
