Nigel Mansfield
Allan is a brilliant colleague to work alongside with a great attitude, dedicated work ethic and a strong sense of humour. We have worked together for four years at Street League with Allan acting as a highly effective operations director in charge of all youth-focused delivery across our English regions. Allan’s always strives to build strong relationships with his direct line reports that in turn leads to a high level of performance and outcomes. He is very focused on creating an environment that works towards agreed KPI’s with an expectation that all targets will be met - whilst providing support when and where required. When presented with a problem, he always finds a solution and has a track record of turning around problem areas in a short space of time. All in all, a great colleague, director and people manager that is an absolute pleasure to work with.
Matt Stevenson-Dodd
Allan is one of the best senior leaders I have worked with during my career. He is extremely professional, comes with a wealth of experience from a variety of sectors, is goal driven and knows how to get the best from a team. His particular skills lie in motivating people to focus on what matters and then ensuring things get delivered, including turning around teams that aren't performing as well as they could. He does this in a really encouraging and motivating way which is great to see. Allan understands the need to see a broad overview of the whole organisation as well as get into the detailed operations, and knows how to play a role in a senior team to get the best for the organisation. He's also a really nice guy! It was an absolute pleasure working in a team with Allan whilst I was CEO of Street League. I wish him all the best in the rest of his career - I know it will be successful!
