TASL Speech-Language Consultants is an established and experienced firm that specializes in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy. We provide a noninvasive treatment to improve the underlying causes of jaw and teeth misalignment, tongue dysfunction, teeth clenching, chewing & swallowing, & speech sound errors. Orofacial myofunctional disorders usually result from low tongue position and bad habits such as excessive thumb-sucking, tongue between teeth, and having your lips gaped apart. A protruding tongue can lead to a lisp, an overbite, TMJ, a sleep disorder, etc. Many orofacial disorders can lead to digestive problems in the long term. Thumb sucking can lead to the front teeth moving forward and upward resulting in anything from an over-jet (a.k.a. “buck teeth”) to mouth breathing. Whatever your issue is, our team of TASL myofunctional speech therapists are here to assist you in every way possible. We are not satisfied unless you are. Like you, we believe that a balanced face is an attractive face. Show less
