Monthly Payroll – c1200 staff. Worked closely with HR to ensure that all staff changes are recorded on the Payroll system. Company operated a Salary Sacrifice scheme, so benefits such as Company Pension, Health Insurance, Childcare Vouchers, were deducted at source and taxable pay adjusted. I did a lot of vital analysis work for HR, using my advanced Excel skills (vlookup, Pivot Tables) to create a monthly spreadsheet, which cross referenced all employees between Payroll, HRIS and the Benefits Company, highlighting any discrepancies (Salary, benefits selected, Pension %'s, hours worked, location). Fortnightly Payroll – c850 staff (paid each payroll). Worked with our fieldwork administrators to record staff changes, similar to the monthly staff except no salary details were held on the payroll system. Once a fortnight I’d import the pay claim information from our field management system into the payroll system. This is all the Fees (taxable), Expenses and Mileage for that two week period. The payroll system we used was ADP Freedom. Show less

I had sole responsibility for the financial accounting function at this Events Management Company. The company organised many sports based events with sponsorship. My role extended to being heavily involved in the actual events which included the BT Swimathon and Heathrow London Youth Games. In the BT Swimathon significant sums of money were raised for designated charities. It was my job to account for these donations and forward to the charities. Also did the payroll for c30 staff.
