  10 week lighting course through the TCS Academy which is a virtual program that prepares junior artists for the industry. The program involves intense training from industry professionals where artists can expect to develop all their skills e.g. creative, technical, procedural, and soft skills. Katana and Houdini are the two programs that artists will use within the virtual course with some comp in nuke and a focus on RenderMan as the primary rendering software. Completing weekly assessments across an array of different areas within the lighting field has taught me so much about lighting itself and vfx as an industry. It has been an absolute privilege and I am so thankful for being chosen to be a part of this course. It has allowed me to develop skills in a field that I am passionate about and hopefully sometime in the near future I will be working on projects for the big screen. Show less
