Creation and control of the budget. Strong focus on Sales, Food and Beverage, people management and presentational standards. All Health & Safety aspects of the club, creation and implementation of Risk Assessments and management of COSHH requirements. Recruitment, training, appraisal and team discipline. Achievements; Managed rebranding and restructure of club from Next Generation to David Lloyd through 2008, overseeing new operating systems and ways of working. December 2008, Passed CMI Health and Safety Audit at first attempt, one of only two legacy Next Generation Clubs in the Company to achieve this. Club outperformed budget by over £150K in 2007, achieving 109% of budgeted Membership Income, winning Sales and Membership Team of the Year. Won F and B Team of the Year for the second year running for 2007, beating budgeted profitability by over £34K. I was especially proud of the latter having directly managed F and B for 6 months in the absence of Manager, whilst still completing my own duties to the highest standards, averaging 97% in our Club Health Audits, relating to presentation and operations. In 2009 operations achieved 100% in both a Brand Standards Audit and a Mystery Member Audit conducted over 10 separate visits to the club. Show less
