My role was to manage and centralise the rota coordination of over 400 care staff in the organisation, recruit and train a new rota team, implement IT systems to speed up communication, advise on internal systems and build a bank of flexible staff to reduce agency spend across the Care Homes. Direct management of the HR team resulted in attrition reducing, increased applications and appointments of RGN and HCA by changing tactics on advertising and screening procedures.
