Alison was one of the best students I taught in the Lake Erie College MBA program. An incredibly hard worker, she never shied away from a challenge. An excellent writer, Ali was able to produce work that was succinct, but thorough; a skill not a lot of students can master. Ali was a student in the Marketing Strategy class and the MBA capstone class - Policy Development I taught. Both challenging classes that required a lot of research, writing, and analysis. Not once did she disappoint. The final project in the MBA capstone class was a semester-long assignment that culminated in a corporate strategy for a company of the student's choice. When Ali told me she wanted to work on the United States Post Office, I was initially hesitant to give her approval. First, I didn't think that she'd find the background information she needed. Second, I didn't think that she would be able to come up with sensible strategies for such a cumbersome government agency. I was wrong both times. Her project was so good, I agreed that she should send it to the Postmaster General. She did and actually received a reply. A true master of the pedagogical process, Ali has many skills she brings to the organizations for which she works (worked): an excellent communicator in writing and in person; a truly talented analyst; a creative and strategic thinker; and a person unafraid of a challenge.

There have been very few people in my personal or professional life that are as dependable as Ali. Her work always exceeds expectations. She has the most pleasant demeanor, even under excruciating pressure. Ali’s knowledge of her craft has become the standard in our organization. All who work with her would easily agree.
