I've had the pleasure of working closely with Alison Vail as part of our Leadership Coaching journey, both as a colleague and also as a customer. Few people I've worked with at Montefiore have displayed the level of passion for patient care, coupled with a keen understanding of business process and people as Alison Vail does. Alison's instincts for solution-finding, and her innate ability to cut through complexity and find common sense solutions is second to none. She is a compassionate leader, a change agent, and always leads by example. It's refreshing to see a leader so willing to talk truth to power, yet use diplomacy and influence, not position, to build support for her vision and bring about amazing results for her team and the entire organization. I'm confident Alison will continue to build great programs and bring success to all institutions that she is part of.
