  My experience in the makeup/beauty world spans around 15 years in total. I entered the world of makeup working for the iconic brand Mary Quant where my real love of colour began as they were so advanced with their colour choices and different ranges. I soon became a senior consultant for Maxfactor and had a wonderful time working in-store doing makeup workshops, working and training other consultants and helping out at fashion events. I was given the opportunity to work behind the scenes of "Miss World" and have assisted on the "Clothes show Live" exhibition very exciting times!! Other experiences included working for Estee Lauder as an in-store Makeup artist where I had lots of brides pop in to seek advice and have makeups. I really loved going through all their colour schemes to perfect the look they wanted for their special day. After a few years taking time out I decided to go back to my love of makeup artistry and I have recently completed an extensive bridal makeup course with Amy Westlake the inspirational and talented makeup artist and founder of " A BRUSH WITH BEAUTY". I loved updating my skills and enjoyed it so much I have become the new franchisee for London south! I am also about to complete the bridal hair design course with Amy so that I can offer this service alongside the makeup ....exciting times ahead for the 2016-17 season!! I am so passionate about makeup and I really get a buzz out of making women look their best, whether it be for a private makeup lesson, bride to be or helping ladies look good and feel better at workshops run for ladies who are suffering from the adverse side effects of cancer. I love making people feel happy and comfortable in my presence, as the best results are always achieved!! Learning and updating skills is so important to me so I like to keep current, going to beauty exhibitions and seeing what other Industry experts and makeup artists are up to!! Alison x
