  As the Rights and Acquisitions Manager at Ignatius Press, I oversaw all incoming requests for Permissions and Manuscript Submissions. I also negotiated and finalized all contracts, whether that be with authors, other publishers (both foreign and domestic), translators, or even joint-venture, profit sharing corporations. I managed all of these fields by implementing detailed organization systems, including filing systems and progress logs. In addition to my primary tasks, I also answered the phones for our Editorial Office and oversaw special projects for the company's founder. One such project was gathering dozens of addresses for Bishops throughout the world and organizing the distribution of thousands of books to them from grant money Ignatius Press had been given.

  I volunteered with Peer Health Exchange for the last three years of my college career. I began my work as a Health Educator, so my primary role was to teach health workshops to teenagers every week. From there, I was selected as a member of the Leadership Council, where my primary role was to coordinate one workshop group, of 3-5 volunteers along with weekly teachings. The subsequent year, I took up my role as Co-Coordinator, overseeing the entire volunteer group of 50+ volunteers.
