Harbor Discoveries is a summer ocean sciences camp for students wishing to advance their knowledge of the marine environment in a fun, interactive way. At NEAq, I was an instructor for the advanced group, creating interactive lesson plans and field trips of the Boston Harbor Islands and surrounding areas for students ages 12-15. Opportunities included aquarium animal husbandry, a week-long schooner trip, hand-on labs at Project Oceanology, and self-guided behind-the-scenes tours of the aquarium.
