Launching in 2023, Good Citizen is a podcast from the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library content studio and FoST. Hosted by Ted Roosevelt V, it's one of the first components of the library's outreach to build the institution’s audience, bring attention to its opening in 2026, and promote its three pillar principles: citizenship, leadership, and conservation. The goal of this interview-based show is to counter the negativity, polarization, and apathy around our country and planet right now. Our approach is to have open and honest conversations with people at the top of their fields who have made a tremendous difference in the world through their integrity and actions. We spotlight people doing great things despite the obstacles in front of them, and shine a light not just on their achievements, but also unpack the values that fueled them. The podcast will motivate people (on both sides of the aisle) not just to think, but to act; to re-engage with their values; and to collaborate productively with one another. Show less
