It's rare that you come across someone who is so talented yet so easy going at the same time. I first met Alish at the Brainhack Geneva hackathon where we worked on a common BCI project. Amongst all of us team members, Alish was the standout star with his tenacity as well as his intellectual ability. Over time, we have gotten to know each other very well and I must say, with all his charismatic brilliance behind his machine, Alish is also a great teacher and a good mentor. We have had numerous discussions about Neuroengineering and Alish has helped me find a direction in this wide field. Together we have also started a Community for like-minded Neuroscience enthusiasts where time and again, Alish displays excellent leadership qualities in guiding the flow of discussion. Overall, Alish is a great individual and as a team member or as a supervisor, Alish earns my highest recommendation.
