Aline was summer staff in the role of Junior Analyst, between school years, at Durum Properties Inc. where I have a senior capital markets role for specific projects. Aline had a number of duties to assist with marketing, research and special events that I oversaw. She was a delight to work with due to a sunny disposition and she took her role seriously with attention to details and a knack of learning quickly. I would be pleased to have her attitude and work ethic on any team in the future.

In the digital age we are living in, all aspects of life are becoming easier and more user friendly. As a CR, it is my goal to bridge the gaps or misunderstandings of day-to-day banking for customers and leave people feeling more confident with their banking experiences. This role consists of multiple duties such as representing the company with integrity, handling transactions, resolving personal financial issues, and finding gaps in an individual's banking to make their lives easier. Although the notion of informing people on how to make banking easier is important, ultimately how you inform clients is what encourages an open and honest relationship to exists in any industry. As an undergraduate student I had the opportunity to work for Durum Properties during the summer of 2016 in Calgary, Alberta. The magnitude of learning experiences I had within such a short time span had a large impact on my life. To have this experience, after only one year of university education under my belt, was life changing. I began in the role of a junior analyst and soon was given the main responsibilities of assisting with marketing, research and special events. While I was introduced to these new tasks, I was exposed to the importance of networking as well. This has contributed to my overall ability to meet and interface with people from all spectrum of a business organization. This had a very significant impact on my life by providing me the opportunity to put my name out into the business world with a newly founded confidence and knowledge. The team in which I was surrounded had a strong culture and valued having highly educated individuals make up the core of the company. It was their goal to help me grow and reach my higher potential. After working just over the summer months with this company, having these experiences, I will translate all I have learned into my professional abilities as well as my future career. Show less

Homegrown Foods is a local organic health food store, located in Stony Plain, Alberta. I begun working in the back (dealing with stock) and progressed to a higher position which entailed me to have more responsibilities like money management, helping customers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. As well as attending information seminars to increase my knowledge on products and companies the business was ordering from.
