-Provide day-to-day compensation administration support to University schools / units/ departments. -Educate constituents regarding compensation-related concepts, procedures, policies and regulations.-Serve in a counseling capacity to assist departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; evaluate new and updated positions for compliance with wage and hour laws, union contracts, and placement within the internal salary structure. -Provide analysis of internal equity and external market data to Human Resources and external departments in order to assist in the determination of new hire salaries, promotions, equity adjustments, etc.-Participate in industry and ad hoc surveys on behalf of the University. Synthesize and compile data for use by department.
