Work alongside class teacher supporting children's learning and development. Scaffolding children's learning to ensure that they reach their learning targets set for them. Observe children's learning and link it to the EYFS Framework. Supervise children in all aspects of learning as well as special activities such as swimming, forest school and PE. Set up the environments for play based learning for the class, which then fosters free choice of activities for the children. Work alongside students who needs extra support with specific learning needs. Currently working with students who need extra support with handwriting. Working through the "Beat Dyslexia" workbook where students complete a range of activities which specifically looks at different aspects of reading, handwriting and letter formation. Children also take part in listening activities to further deepen their learning and development.

Rapid Reading Learning Support for Year 3-Year 6

Learning Support Assistant for Rapid Reading Programme for students in Years 3-Year 6. Assist student with SEN catch up with reading and their understanding of various texts. Main programme of Rapid Reading is to help students with specific special needs improve on their confidence as well as to accelerate their individual learning.
