  As a case manager, it was my responsibility to help guide homeless women and children on a path to self-sufficiency. This included intensive case management that required active listening and providing a trauma-informed care approach to each family and their unique case. It also included overseeing the housing projects and ensuring the houses were clean and up to program standards.

  As an Intake Coordinator, I screened every call that came into Colette's Children's Home. I was responsible for assessing their housing situation and scheduling interviews based on program availability. I conducted interviews on a weekly basis and interviewed and drug-tested every client that was interested in coming into Colette's Children's Home (CCH). I would meet bi-weekly with the Program Supervisor to go over the placement of clients from the interviews conducted into available units and schedule intake dates with them. Intakes were coordinated and scheduled with the appropriate case manager to ensure unit readiness. As Intake Coordinator, I completed all the necessary paperwork required by, CCH, HUD, and OC HMIS and inputted information into the system within the required time period.
