      • Assist with the administration of the daily operations of the HR department's functions and duties. Carry out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment. • Ensure compliance with Civil Rights Act, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Department of Labor (DOL), FLSA, OSHA, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, Wage and Hour regulations and requirements and provide training as required. • Manage the function of employee benefits, including employee assistance programs to include enrollment in medical, life and 401(K) plans. Respond to employee inquiries, provide guidance on benefits, schedule, and facilitate employee benefits trainings and/or enrollment meetings. • Disseminate Personnel Policies, Procedures, revisions as needed, and provide training and clarification as appropriate. Ensure that the Employee Dispute Resolution process is followed by all staff. • Pre-screen all applications to ensure candidates meet minimum job qualifications, facilitate the interview process, and process required paperwork. • Conduct employee orientation, pre-employment post-offer criminal history checks, medical exams and TB tests as appropriate and provide HR related training. • Respond to correspondence regarding personnel issues. Research complaints, prepare response and, if necessary, forward response for review to Human Resources Director. • Assist Risk Manager in gathering documentation to respond to employment related matters. • Provide timely monthly reports for Corporate Office to PA & MSHSD including hiring/termination reports for Policy Council approval.
