Alicia co-designed, developed, and managed the RISN Incubator. The RISN Incubator, a circular economy accelerator within the Resource Innovation and Solutions Network, or RISN was the first in the US. The RISN Incubator was a collaboration between RMWSSS and the Entrepreneurship + Innovation departments at Arizona State University along with the City of Phoenix and is partially funded by a U.S. Economic Development Administration grant. As Director of Arizona Women's Education and Entrepreneur Center, a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) funded Women's Business Center, designed, developed and managed the center which provided programming, services, and resources for women and minority owned businesses across Maricopa County. The center's programs and services were established with a range of programs and services to support micro to small businesses in a range of industries from artisans to advanced tech manufacturing.
