This was an exciting and dynamic role that supported the Club’s Commercial & Marketing, Wagering and Events Departments and was also responsible for the management of the oncourse broadcast and audio visual systems at both Ascot and Belmont racecourses.Growing from a team of two to eight, I drove the production of high quality content for broadcast and promotion across various social media platforms to encourage attendance and wagering, as well as making significant improvements to the oncourse broadcast systems and entertainment experience for patrons.My key achievements include;- Managed the transition of the Department from Vision to Production & AV;- Completed various Capital Expenditure projects for oncourse and equipment upgrades;- Developed and submitted a comprehensive Tender Package for the provision of High Definition Broadcast Services across all race codes, tracks and clubs within Western Australia;- Developed Audio Visual as an additional revenue stream for the business through upselling services to industry (Owners/Trainers) as well as Event customers (Trade, Beauty & Fashion Shows, Conferences etc);- Introduced Digital Advertising, Directional and Informational Signage in key areas for improved promotion;- Supported Wagering initiatives with the install of new Digital Odds solutions and oncourse screens;- Provided audio visual and production services for all in-house events including Annual General Meetings, Barrier Draws, Breakfast with the Stars and more, previously outsourced; - Development of videos for Human Resources recruitment and onboarding;- Achieved a 98% reduction in oncourse complaints from Members, Trainers and patrons regarding vision and audio;- Made significant operational improvements to improve the vision and audio experience within all areas of the Club whilst actively improving operation efficiency to reduce departmental costs.- Awarded Employee of the Quarter 2015;- Awarded Employee of the Year 2015. Acting General Manager - Vision

In January, the General Manager of Racing, Wagering and Vision departed Perth Racing and I was appointed the Acting General Manager of Vision which included relevant reporting plus attendance at Board Meetings. Whilst in this position, the broadcast of races for Perth Racing and the country tracks was outsourced to a 3rd party who commenced providing these services in August 2016.As a result, the ‘Vision’ business unit was dissolved and I became responsible for a new department titled Production & AV, responsible for the development of in-house production capabilities and the oncourse broadcast systems at both Ascot & Belmont Park.Please see above for my further progress and achievements whilst at Perth Racing.Key achievement;* This transition of business services and redundant staffing was successfully managed by myself ensuring continued broadcast with no loss of vision or expected standards, plus management and implementation of upgrades to achieve high-definition broadcast.
