    • Family Support Advocate
      • May 2015 - Sep 2016

I maintained a case load of roughly 15 to 23 families. I served the population of first time parents in their homes as aHome Visitor/ Advocate, and I met with the families depending on their needs, up to four or five times a month. I documented child development, worked with community resources such as the Department of Children and Families or the Department of Transitional Assistance and many others. I also brought curriculum to families that met their needs. For example, if a family needed material on summer safety or how to apply for assistance, I would gather the information and walk them through the process. I also went to court with families, doctors appointments and any other places the families typically wanted. Show less
