I created, produced and performed a one woman historical satire show at the Edinburgh Fringe 2018/2019, called "News@1066". “Well! It was bonkers and brilliant and clever and stupid and funny and weird and hilarious and off the wall and odd and happy and intelligent and bizarre and crazy and subtle and unexpected and side splitting. I loved it!” Set in a TV studio, News@1066 is a 40 minute show which puts history straight! Roving reporters get to the bottom of history's biggest stories. Fast-moving and wacky, this one-woman comic show races across time from one breaking story to the next. Historical fact mixes with modern technology – screen, sound effects and music as anchorwoman Alice Loxton interviews live celebs from the past (spoilers: Anne Boleyn in a life jacket; Richard III's parking fine). This show is a belly full of laughs – accessible to all. Totally unique and jolly good fun!

I founded, wrote, produced and distributed The Plague Magazine. The Plague Magazine is an award winning satirical history magazine - for history that gets under your skin. Through wit, humour, a modern writing style and lively layout, The Plague juxtaposes our past with modern sensationalist journalism and consumer culture, creating a publication which is wacky, bizarre and totally unique. While exposing the follies of the disparate past and present, we reveal our ancestors have more in common with us than may seem. Past contributors have included Mark Stoyle (Professor of History, University of Southampton), Quentin Letts (Daily Mail columnist), Sophie Lucas (New York Fair Director, The Other Art Fair, Saatchi Art), Rob Attar (Editor, BBC History Magazine). The Plague was distributed to university students, with targeted distribution in Edinburgh, Oxford, Durham and St Andrews universities.
