  - Working with HL7 interfaces to/from various downstream systems to/from our current PAS (Lastword ) and future PAS (Cerner Millenium) - Written full stack of interfaces like RAD/PATH, Appointments, ED, Alerts, Meds etc. for large scale projects - Created basic framework for coding/ writing interfaces based on the trust requirements that allows for easy to read/ self documented and easy to debug coding standards. - Wrote data backloading into downstream systems using old MUMPs style TCP coding. - Worked with new Ensemble style DTL (Personally prefer to write code) - Wrote standard set of functions that allows for a complete interface from a PAS system to our EDM system (Evolve) that is logged locally within the TIE. - Created a full backup mechanism that creates a backup of CACHE.dat and also creates xml output of all code that is backed up to one of our linux servers working towards a target of full critical failure recovery for all interfaces within 1 working day. - Created various web applications to assist various team that allows for easy access/ automating functionality like DPAC(Downtime Prescription) application distribution to trust PCs, monitoring EDM disk with active alerts, Waiting times app for ED, access to global errors in deployed application etc - Configured/worked on mirroring/arbiter setup, correct journaling practices, pButtons, database management/truncating etc and various systems admin tasks Show less
