After completing a university internship with Her Place Museum, I was asked to continue helping as a volunteer. Tasks in this role included the de-installation of the previous exhibition and attending a filming day of interviews. Through my involvement in these final stages of preparation for the upcoming exhibition, I learnt about the appropriate manner to store and care for artefacts in storage, and the AV requirements for well-lit and structured interviews for television display in the exhibition space. Additionally, I have invigilated the exhibition at Her Place, and learnt to appropriately set up the space and guide visitors within it. Show less

I attended the Tel-Es-Safi archaeological dig in 2018 and 2019. Both years I spent two weeks in Israel in an Australian, Melbourne University based team under the supervision of Dr. Brent Davis and Dr. Josephine Verduci. Here, I learnt sorting, digging, data entry, top-plan drawing, pottery/bone washing and how to use GPS equipment. Long days at the site required a strong team dynamic and clear communication. The variety of work allowed me to multi-task and work on time management. I attended the Tel-Es-Safi archaeological dig in 2018 and 2019.
