My role involved analysing current and historical data; previously not completed. My aim was to determine whether there were any trends in costs above a threshold amount and decide if this could assist in predicting future costs. I collated and consolidated raw data from across the business, developing spreadsheets to enable me to undertake cross-analysis. Furthermore, I decided to use pivot tables to compare different variables. Through trial and improvement, using my own initiative I ensured I achieved the best possible outcome. Attention to detail and working with others was also critical. I attended management meetings to present my findings to the department head and was praised for the thoroughness and effectiveness of the work, resulting in it being used to inform future plans. Also, I supported another team with the reconciliation of labour costs; checking inaccuracies in job sheet data and rectifying problems. Cross-checking the data inputs over the last six months required teamwork to meet a tight deadline. My dedication to this piece of work was recognised by other colleagues and managers through their reward scheme.

Whilst working for Cambridge and Peterborough CCG, I worked within the Complex Cases Team as a Senior Administrator. My role included the managing of Complaints, Freedom of Information requests and Subject Access Requests. This involved liaising with other members in the team and various managers to ensure deadlines were upheld and ensured records were kept up-to-date. I frequently supported other teams to ensure patient letters were sent out on time. This support extended to my managers with providing help with room bookings, printing and telephone calls. Every aspect was conducted in a confidential manner, ensuring the sensitivity and privacy of the patients were upheld.
