IFM Manager
-
Jan 2016 - Apr 2020
IFM Manager at LEAF. I led on developing Integrated Farm Management and sharing best practice amongst farmers. Within this role I manage a network of industry leading farmers acting as LEAF Demonstration Farmers. As well as this, I lead on our role as Knowledge Exchange partner in 4 European research projects. Day to day, this has included managing a small team to run demonstration events as well as developing new technical and communication training courses, creating practical resources, writing articles and building relationships with individuals and organisations across the sector.

Project Coordinator
-
May 2013 - Apr 2020
Following a successful placement at LEAF, I was appointed Projects Coordinator. My work was primarily focussed around the Defra funded Sustainable Intensification Platform. “SIP” was a broad-ranging, multi-actor project and activities undertaken include running farmer events, facilitating workshops, disseminating research findings and ground-truthing academic research. Around this I also supported in the coordination of the LEAF Demonstration Farmers and LEAF technical resources.
