    • Navigation Services Officer
      • Nov 2022 - Present

Air New Zealand shows three types of fleets: • Turboprops: Dash 8 Q300 and ATR72 • Jet Narrowbody: A320/A321 ceo/neo • Jet Widebody: B777 and B787 Each one has its own source data and a different FMS Nav Database. We guarantee that these data are correct and up to date, for every AIRAC cycle. We publish desktop/usb/CD and produce the required documentation to be sent to the simulator for testing and to the hangars for the final upload on the FMS. We take care of the Navigation database validation for RNAV procedures. Through a strong collaboration with GE and Jeppesen we create tailored charts for airports/procedures with non-standard characteristics and peculiar requirements. We follow new aircrafts deliveries, from Europe to New Zealand. We work strictly with Tech Pilots, Aircraft Performance Engineers and Flight Planning Specialists. We all use FlightKeys software. Aiming to a paper free cockpit, we are developing a FD PRO customization using the Ground Control feature and setting the base of AvioBook EFB. We develop flight planning training programs for Air New Zealand pilot type transition courses. We give timely provision of Navigation and Route Information, define User Preferred Routes and fuel-efficient flight planning practices. We design and validate emergency escape routes to be used in case of an enroute decompression. We are a small team of 4 people with different backgrounds, really passionate about aviation. I attended the following course: - ARINC 424 Navigation Database Coding Show less

    • Project Engineer - Thermal & Process
      • Mar 2019 - Nov 2020

The company covers two main business in the Power sector: wet (cooling towers) and dry (ACCs air cooler condensers). As a project engineer I followed different ACC projets from the moment the PO is received to its delivery on site, its installation and the plant start up. I studied in detail the process, issued the P&IDs, the technical datasheets (tubes, bundles, motors, fans, transmissions, vacuum unit, condensate tanks, cleaning system) and all the related documents. I worked strictly in contact with the PM and, together we managed all the issues related to the project: supply chain, quality, transports, commercial and technical aspects. Our aim was to guarantee the correct development of the project from the engineering side and meet the deadlines so that our customers are satisfied. All was done through a continuos interaction with the client and the suppliers. Show less

I performed Thermal and Fluid Dynamics analysis using SolidWorkks Flow Simulation in order to understand and improve the flow behaviour inside different valve types. The software enables the user to create either the 3D CAD or the computational mesh and to carry out FEM analysis.
