My role as a first grade teacher encompassed planning, teaching, assessing, and grading. I collaborated with colleagues to create learning continuity thru grade levels. The student population necessitated a differentiated and multi-sensory approach to lesson planning. In addition to teaching responsibilities I had the role role of religious coordinator for the school. In that capacity, I was responsible for taking information gathered at Archdiocesan workshops back to the faculty to inform and implement. I also volunteered to teach "Touching Safety" for grades K-5, a program set forth to inform our students and help them stay safe. Show less
