Bio
Vivian Christogianni
Alice is an outstanding researcher and material scientist, and it's been a privilege to work with her! She has demonstrated the ability to work on cutting-edge research and transfer it easily to the business side. I have been working with Alice since October 2017 as her industrial supervisor for her PhD that focuses on the design of novel cross-linking strategies for silicone materials. Alice has always demonstrated a willingness to get involved where she can help. She has consistently showed a good ability to understand what is needed and figure out the best test methods and ways to achieve it. She has exceptional experimental and problem-solving skills and has been working in an efficient manner in the laboratory producing extremely important and reliable results. She regularly presents her work in a concise and meaningful way on a monthly basis both to senior managers in FormFormForm Ltd and to her Academic supervisor and peers at Queen Mary University of London and wrote a very comprehensive and remarkable 8 month report. Alice has also been investing in her own development to stay abreast of industry trends and new technology. Her initiative in presenting her work in conferences and her willingness to attend seminars are testament to this. There is no doubt that Alice leverages the knowledge she gains for the benefit of our company. I know that Alice will pursue her PhD degree with great success and definitely make an excellent scientist in industry or in academia!

During this short term contract research role, I researched liquid crystal composites for a project based on novel optical fabrics. I enjoyed this project very much, and left as I was expecting my second child.
