  Oversaw events in the 5 Boroughs but mainly concentrated on Manhattan. Helped establish the first NYC 5 Boro Marathon. For many years was the coordinator between the city agencies (Transportation, NYPD, Sanitation etc.) and the New York Road Runners; was also in charge of the Marathon set-up in Central Park. Assisted with the James Taylor Concert which was the last major event allowed on the Sheep Meadow. Also, helped produce the Elton John and the Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel concerts on the Great Lawn. Other major events: Pope John's visit to New York; Memorial Service for John Lennon in Central Park; the New York Philharmonic and the Metropolitan Opera Park Concerts.
