  At the moment I am working as a Project Manager of a Core Banking System Development Team, the platform we use is IBM Equation. My scope of duties is broad as our team is relatively small and each person has to be versatile.Key Responsibilities:- Team management (including task management, supervision of Junior/Middle developers, organization of testing and quality assurance process, reporting on activities);- Work with software specifications (analysis of technical and functional requirements, software specifications creation and editing);- Mentoring (both Junior developers and testing/delivery specialists);- Inner communications (direct communication with customer, counselling of BA, communication with other units);- Software development and related tasks (ILE RPG programming, work with DB2 using SQL).The Core Banking System Development Team is constantly working on several projects at once, due to this I have significantly improved the multitasking abilities. Being a team player is a must for a manager, but my job has taught me to be prepared to take on the responsibility of your team’s results.
