      EUAS Ambarlı Power Plant is a Turkish state-owned power complex with 5 fuel-oil and 3 gas fired power plants. Units 4 & 5 Rehabilitation Project is a " Full Repowering by CCPP Cenversion " Project that is a "first of its kind " Project in Turkey and is equalled in magnitude and complexity by only a handful of worlwide examples.Mentioned Project covers complete replacement of the orginal fuel fired boiler of a steam plant with a combination of Gas Türbine - Generating Sets; Re-Engineering & Modification of the existing steam turbines for performance optimization / enhancement, beyond customary implementation of repair, rehabilitation and general life - extension measures. As a result of these activities total installed capacity was raised from 270 MW to 816 MW. Net efficiency was improved from %35 to %56.My assignments for the AmbarlıUnits 4&5 Rehabilitation Project are as follows,Contract negotiations with end client(EÜAŞ)Request for Proposal preparation according to contractNegotiation on RFPs with OEMs.Maintaining the coordination between the OEMs and site management.Inspecting the HRSG manufacturing which was done by AE&E according to ASME Codes.Inspecting the auxiliary boiler which was manufactured by Yildiz Kazan.Managing the Steam Turbine inspections which was done by ALSTOM.Finding solutions to problems by internalization root cause analyses.Inspecting the overhauling steps of Steam Turbine which was performed by Turbocare.Preparing, gathering operation and maintanence manuals for the overall plant.Preparation, gathering and performing of function tests for the overall plant systems.Negotiation of performance tests with Bilfinger Babcock.Negotiating and completing of open items in punch lists during provisional acceptance with end client.Coordinating performance tests with Bilfinger Babcock and End Client(EUAS)Participation till the end of provisional site acceptance.
