I was responsible for working across all levels of the organisation to ensure business requirements were captured and the new system was aligned to the organisation data policy. This was to replace a mainframe-based system that had been operational since 1990. The cost of the project was over $14 million and is forecasted to generate over $60 million over the next 3 years. • Managed and developed a project team of over 30 resources to develop a credit card data mart for HSBC and partners. This included a conversion from an old system to a new one which was extremely complex as it included a number of legacy applications which needed to be documented and then created and improved in the new system. • Managed a project to develop a new business system in the UKDW for commercial relationship managers within the bank. The project saved the bank on average $6 million per annum by demising legacy applications and creating a system compliant with the future state architecture. • Managed projects to ensure regulatory changes (FATCA, ring-fenced bank) are implemented in the organisation. • Managed a project to enhance and further develop a branch management and reporting system for the retail bank using the Agile methodology.
